Mark Royston
Co-owner & Lead Planner
Meet Co-owner and Lead Planner Mark Royston. Mark has a degree in Business and Event Management. He started his career in food & beverage and once worked for Wolfgang Puck in Chicago, IL. In March 2010, Mark became the Weddings and Events Planner for two of Savannah's premier private venues. The idea of starting a Wedding Planning Company came to Mark after many years of being the restaurant's events manager & seeing how client's needed / wanted more assistance in planning their Big Day. When Mark is not busy planning weddings he enjoys cooking, watching soccer, and spending time with his family.

Meg Royston
Co-owner & Lead Planner
Meet Co-Owner, Creative Director and Mark's wife, Meg Royston. Meg has a bachelor's degree in liberal studies where she studied everything from Design to Business Management. Meg came aboard the ESW team in 2015, after working fulltime in business management and part time at the event venue that Mark managed. When she worked the events with Mark, she loved being a part of something so special & knew that with her background in design & management branching out into the wedding world was the way to go. When not planning weddings, Meg enjoys reading, vacationing, and spending time with her family & dogs.

Emilie Locke
Lead Full Planner & Office Manager
Meet Emilie Locke, Lead Planner & Virtual Assistant. Emilie joined the team full time in 2020 after working with ESW part time as a day of coordinator. She has an extensive background in the hospitality industry. She is a self-proclaimed night owl, a new mama and keeps us organized with her spectacular organizational skills! ​When not planning weddings, Emilie can be found spending time with her family, exploring downtown Savannah, & cheering on the KC chiefs.

Meet Tricia Agee, Lead Coordinator.
For more than a decade, Tricia has had the joy of telling love stories through a camera lens as a wedding photographer. Today, she is bringing that same passion for storytelling, creativity, and all the little details that make a moment meaningful into her work as a wedding planner.

As a Florida native, she has always had a deep appreciation for beautiful places, good people, and the magic found in the moments in between. she is someone who truly believes there is beauty everywhere—you just have to slow down enough to notice it. Moving to the area in 2018, she found the beauty that Savannah had to offer and decided to call it home.

Tricia is drawn to all things love and feels incredibly lucky to work in a world filled with it with Elegant Savannah Weddings. Whether it be meeting clients for coffee, setting up their vision on their special day, or capturing content, she loves all parts of the wedding process.

When she is not captivated in wedding season, you’ll usually find her planning her next adventure, traveling somewhere new with her camera in tow , loving on animals, or dreaming up her next creative project. Tricia is endlessly inspired by new places, genuine connection, and beautiful details. At the heart of it all, she is here to create, celebrate, and find the beauty in every story.

Victoria Diaz Carlson
Lead Planner
Meet Victoria Diaz Carlson.
Victoria is a Savannah native, born and raised, and a Georgia Southern University graduate. With deep roots in the city she calls home, Victoria brings a true insider’s perspective to every wedding she plans. Her lifelong connection to the city allows her to help couples experience the very best of Savannah while creating a wedding day that feels personal and uniquely their own.
Victoria has been passionate about weddings and events for as long as she can remember, and has been working in the wedding industry since 2022. After planning her own wedding with the team at Elegant Savannah Weddings, her love for the industry only grew, eventually leading her to become apart of the team. She loves taking a couple’s ideas and turning them into something beautiful, creative, and full of personality, while making sure every detail feels intentional and true to the couple.
When she’s not planning weddings, Victoria loves spending time with her family, relaxing on the boat, or grabbing a bite to eat at local restaurants. She also has a big heart for animals and is involved with a local animal rescue organization, where she helps foster dogs. Her love for Savannah, her passion for people, and her genuine excitement for creating unforgettable celebrations make her a wonderful resource for couples planning their wedding in the city she knows and loves.
